The Canadian Brownfields Network has a number of committees that member companies and organizations can get involved in. Most committees meet monthly or bi-monthly, and provide invaluable support for CBN activities.

The committees run through CBN are:

• Communications co-chaired by Andrew Macklin of WSP Canada and Brian Eastcott of ERIS.
• Development co-chaired by Joanna Vince of Willms & Shier Environmental Lawyers LLP and James Cullen of WSP Golder
• Equality, Diversity and Inclusion chaired by Reanne Ridsdale of Toronto Metropolitan University (PhD Candidate)
• Government Relations chaired by Ian Collins of GHD Limited
• Membership chaired by Carol LeNoury of ERIS (Environmental Risk Information Service)
• Technical Advisory chaired by Peter Sutton of Terrapex
• In addition, CBN has three ad hoc committees:
  • Conference: led by Meggen Janes of Geosyntec & Krista Barfoot of Stantec.
  • HUB Awards: led by Grant Walsom of XCG Consulting.
  • Brownie Awards: led by Chris De Sousa of Ryerson University
