Celebrating our Industry at the 2021 Brownie Awards

By: CBN

Around 200 industry professionals joined us in Toronto on November 23rd for the 2021 Brownie Awards. Co-presented by our friends from Actual Media, the night celebrated the best and brightest from our industry in our efforts to redevelop and rehabilitate brownfield properties across Canada.

This year featured the introduction of our newest award, Refocus, which recognizes a project for its community benefits beyond the work done to redevelop the property. The first-ever winner of the award was the 150 Harrison Street Modular Housing Initiative in Toronto.

On behalf of CBN, we want to congratulate all of our nominated projects and individuals, as well as everyone who sponsored and attended the event. Your continued support of the brownfield industry in Canada is greatly appreciated.

We also want to congratulate CBN Board member Monisha Nandi, who was recognized as this year’s Brownfielder of the Year. She has been a devoted member of the CBN team for several years, and we couldn’t be happier to see her recognized with this award.
