Bruce Tunnicliffe, President, VEI Contracting Inc.

Bruce Tunnicliffe is President and founder of VEI Contracting Inc., and founder and organizer of the SMART Remediation Technical Seminar Series. Mr. Tunnicliffe has more than 20 years of experience designing and implementing remediation programs for contaminants such as petroleum hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and heavy metals. Having worked on more than 500 Sites, Mr. Tunnicliffe has extensive experience with in-situ remediation options and approaches in both soil and bedrock environments. Mr. Tunnicliffe holds a Master’s degree from the University of Waterloo he is a Professional Engineer, a Qualified Person in Ontario, and acts as senior reviewer for Vertex’s complex remedial designs and deliverables.

Faezeh Estamian, Project Manager Environment, GHD

Faezeh Eslamian has 12 years of experience in a wide range of environmental projects including soil characterisation and remediation, hydrogeology, monitoring groundwater quality, modelling the fate and transport of contaminants in soil and groundwater as well as wastewater treatment technologies. Autonomous and organized, she has managed numerous simultaneous and multidisciplinary projects with limited resources while building a strong client relationship. Dr. Eslamian holds a Ph.D. degree in Bioresource Engineering from McGill University and bachelor's and master’s degrees in civil and environmental engineering. She is a strong analytical thinker who proposes sustainable solutions and has developed innovative products and strategies to mitigate environmental problems.  Faezeh is trilingual and has excellent oral and written communication skills demonstrated by accepted proposals, grants, fellowships and awards won at international conferences. Dr. Eslamian has more than 40 publication including journal papers, book chapters as well as handbooks. 

Chad Belenky, President, Iron Creek Group

Chad Belenky, COO. Chad Belenky is the Chief Operating Officer, responsible for the management of Iron Creek Group. Chad has been active in the environmental field since 1996 working on government, commercial, and resource industry sites throughout North America with a focus on Western and Northern Canada. With over 28 years of experience managing a diverse portfolio of projects, he brings a broad range of expertise to Iron Creek. This includes extensive background in both soil and groundwater remediation, all phases of site reclamation, civil earthworks, property transfer activities and project management.

Myriam Cadotte, Directrice de projets, ALTRA - Sanexen

Myriam Cadotte has been working in the environmental field since 2005 and holds a degree in Engineering and a master’s in Chemical Engineering. Employed by Sanexen since 2014, she has held the position of Project Director in the Environment Division since 2021. Her main duties focus on the management and execution of contaminated site remediation projects requiring soil and/or groundwater treatment, primarily by in situ treatment. She is involved in particular in the evaluation of strategies for service proposals, as well as in the development of projects involving new water and soil treatment processes. Her experience in the consulting engineering field in Quebec and in France has enabled her to develop a wide range of skills, participating in all stages of a project, including risk assessment of treatment processes, design, implementation, performance monitoring, and other activities essential to smooth contract progression.

Ryan Reiss, Senior Environmental Engineer, President, RSquared Environmental Inc.
 
Ryan is a senior remediation specialist who has been focused on innovative remediation strategies since his master’s thesis work in bioremediation.  He has more than 2 decades of experience in remediation of impacted sites and has been senior remediation specialist and project lead for many successful remediation projects that have been recognized with prestigious national awards. He loves to see long vacant brownfield sites coming back to life.  He specialises in working closely with buyers, developers, sellers or long-term owners of brownfield sites looking to maximize their return on investment while minimizing liabilities. 

Jevins Waddell, President, Trium Environmental Inc.

Mr. Jevins Waddell serves as a President at TRIUM Environmental Inc., bringing over two decades of expertise in environmental assessment, remediation, and risk analysis. He oversees the North American operations for TRIUM Environmental and is recognized as a leader in the development and deployment of enhanced in-situ and ex-situ remediation strategies and also artificial intelligence AI focused solutions.
