Alberta Lisa Fairweather Director, Land Conservation, Reclamation & Brownfield Redevelopment Land Policy & Programs Branch, Lands Division, Alberta Environment & Protected Areas Lisa Fairweather joined Alberta Environment and Parks as Brownfield Coordinator in 2016 and was awarded the Brownfielder of the Year award in 2017. She has since become Director of Land Conservation, Reclamation and Brownfield Redevelopment, responsible for remediation and reclamation policy. She is looking forward to sharing Alberta’s work and learning from her colleagues at this great national event. |

Robyn Kuhn has been with the Government of Alberta for over 20 years and has worked in the Climate Change Office, the Integrated Resource System Secretariat supporting cross-ministry coordination, and has been the northern contaminated sites manager for the last 5 years. In her role in the contaminated sites program, Robyn has been engaged with the operational side of regulatory operations, leading her team through Environment and Protected Area’s regulatory transformation. During this time, she has worked to ensure reviews and responses are outcomes focused and promoting engagement with stakeholders to find collaborative outcomes that meet legislative requirements. |

British Columbia Colleen Delaney, Senior Professional Reliance Officer in Site Remediation, BC Ministry of Environment and Parks Colleen Delany is a Professional Agrologist with more than 20 years of experience in contaminated site investigation and remediation. Before joining the ministry in 2019, Colleen worked as a senior consultant and project manager on Stage 1 and 2 Preliminary Site Investigations, Detailed Site Investigations, and site remediation projects. In her current role, she is a statutory decision maker, she helps administer the Professional Reliance Model under the Environmental Management Act, and acts as the ministry's liaison with the Society of Contaminated Sites Approved Professionals of BC (CSAP), which supports site investigation and remediation across the province. |

Ontario Sri Sangaraju, Supervisor, Brownfield Units, Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks Sri Sangaraju is a Supervisor with the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP), where he oversees the submission and filing of Records of Site Condition (RSCs) under Ontario’s Brownfields Redevelopment Program. In this role, he supports the consistent application of Ontario’s environmental requirements and provides expert guidance on site assessment, redevelopment activities, and regulatory compliance.
In addition, Sri has contributed to the development of technical guidance materials and has delivered training to both internal staff and external stakeholders. His work involves close collaboration with brownfields hydrogeologists, as well as policy and legal staff, to support regulatory interpretation and implementation. He also works extensively with internal and external stakeholders to support the effective delivery of Ontario’s brownfields program. |

Adam Leus, Manager, Brownfields and Permit to Take Water, Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks Adam Leus is a Senior Manager with the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks, overseeing the Brownfields and Permit to Take Water permissions programs. He supports the consistent application of Ontario’s environmental requirements and provides guidance on matters involving site assessment, redevelopment, and regulatory compliance. Adam has led key provincial policy and technical initiatives, including updating Ontario’s brownfields regulation in 2011, developing soil and groundwater quality standards, and excess soils standards. He also led the development of the Tier 2 risk assessment approaches (Version 1 and 2). In addition, Adam played a key role in the establishment of the Qualified Person Community of Ontario (QPCO), helping to formalize and strengthen the Ministry’s engagement model with the brownfield’s community. His work emphasizes clarity in regulatory interpretation, constructive engagement with Qualified Persons and stakeholders, and a balanced approach to addressing technical, procedural and pragmatic considerations in brownfield redevelopment. |

New Brunswick/Nouveau-Brunswick Mallory Gilliss, Manager, Contaminated Sites Unit, Authorizations Branch, New Brunswick Department of Environment and Local Government. Mallory Gilliss is a registered professional geoscientist that has been with the Department for over 20 years. She initially started with the Department as a Hydrogeologist, then shifted to working in contaminated sites, becoming Manager of the newly formed Contaminated Sites Unit in 2024. The Unit is responsible for overseeing the provincial contaminated sites program and implementing the new Contaminated Sites Regulation. |

Saskatchewan Brent Zelensky, Government of Saskatchewan Manager, Impacted Sites & Environmental Emergencies Environmental Protection Branch, Ministry of Environment Brent Zelensky is the Manager of the Impacted Sites and Environmental Emergencies Section of the Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment. The section is responsible for regulating impacted sites, hazardous materials and waste dangerous goods storage facilities, environmental emergency response, management of the Non-Uranium Abandoned Mines remediation program, and administration of the Impacted Sites Fund for orphaned impacted sites. He is a Professional Agrologist with over 20 years of experience in the impacted sites sector. He started with the ministry in 2012 as a regulator, and previously consulted in Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan on up and downstream oil and gas sites, as well as industrial, municipal, and federal impacted sites. |

Ashgan Houston, Environmental Protection Officer and Environmental Emergencies Officer, Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment Ashgan Houston is an Environmental Protection Officer and Environmental Emergencies Officer with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment. She has approximately 16 years of regulatory and technical experience in impacted site oversight, environmental risk management, remediation, hazardous substance regulation, and emergency response. Her work includes provincial approvals and closures, compliance oversight, spill investigations, and policy development, support by a strong background in environmental consulting, geotechnical investigations, and ecological field assessments. |
